Entrepreneurship
Entrepreneurship raised me. Neither of my parents worked traditional jobs, and entrepreneurship was all I ever knew. The ups, the downs, the freedom, the lack, and everything in between. We were raised with a belief that we can do anything we put our minds to, and it’s no surprise that my siblings and I are sprinkled around the world following unconventional dreams. I launched my first business, a Canadian adventure travel company called FML Adventures at 23. I went all-in on myself and that business for four years, faced much adversity (hello launching a travel business during a global pandemic), learned a heck of a lot about business and myself, and discovered just how much I love supporting and uplifting other entrepreneurs as they commit to bringing their vision to life.
Health & Wellness
In 2020, I hit my health rock bottom. The debilitating pain of Perioral Dermatitis and Acid Reflux took over my days, and brought on deep anxiety, depression, and brain fog, absolutely crushing my self-confidence, self-worth and self-love. I was able to emerge on the other side of this rock bottom largely through the help of the holistic healers that supported me, guided me, held me and walked alongside me. I came out of this experience a different person. And now, I am here to give back to the incredible community of healers. Why?
Because I believe in the transformative power of holistic healing. Because there is a need for each and every one of you and your powerful gifts. And I believe that together, we can grow the ripple of impact and help heal the world.
Nature
As far back as I can remember, I have been drawn to nature. The crystal-clear waters of Tobermory, the dense forests of Northern Ontario, and more recently, the breathtaking mountains of Western Canada and the land of living skies found in the Canadian prairies have all played a significant role in my life. The power of disconnecting from the day-to-day and reconnecting with nature, and in turn, with myself, is unparalleled. When I found myself at a crossroads the year after closing down my first business, I turned to nature. Every idea and offer for this business has been inspired by the innate wisdom of the natural elements. Now, living in Squamish, an English adaptation of the Indigenous word Sḵwx̱wú7mesh, which translates to "Mother of the Wind" and "people of the sacred water," I find myself continuously inspired by the natural elements around me. Nature has shaped me, it has shaped this business, and it will continue to be a pillar as we grow this ripple of purpose and impact.
